Personal Assistance Sedan (PAS)™ Service
This completely unique service is designed by a Registered Nurse for those needing more than just transportation
to or from appointments and procedures. We have paired our chauffeur-driven and custom equipped sedans with a
certified attendant escort trained to assist those experiencing minor incapacitations or limitations due to medical
procedures or those just needing extra help negotiating routine appointments.
About Attendant Services
Attendants/Escorts are certified nursing assistants or home care aides. They can accompany you or your loved one
to a procedure or meet them at the medical office, then return with them to ensure you get safely and comfortably
back into your home and situated. Attendants are trained to give personal care to those in medically compromised
situations and may be retained only for the trip or for extra help pre/post appointment, 24 hours a day.
What can Caregivers Attendants do:
The Attendant can provide just a “tuck in” service or other essential assistance for the person/patient such as:
• Assist the person into the house, up steps
• Unpacking
• Bathing and hygiene
• Show person how to empty their Foley catheter
• Help them get undressed and into bed
• Make medications available and ensure they are within reach
• Make sure they have water and food in the house, set up simple dinner and breakfast foods for them
in obvious and easy reach or even make meals
• Make sure the walkways in the home are uncluttered and unobstructed
• Offer emotional reassurance
• Detect unsafe situations and alert family or emergency contact
• Wash a load of laundry or a sink full of dishes
• If the patient retains the attendant for a longer time, they can do more personal care and housecleaning.
• Telephone a family member to let them know the patient is now home and what has been done or what needs
to be done later or the next day
• Schedule doctor appointments
